Overnight flight from Atlanta – Georgia USA to Tel Aviv
Day 2: Saturday March 9, 2024: INTO THE LAND OF THE BIBLE.
Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport, meet with our professional tour guide, who will be with us during our visit to the Holy Land. Transfer to our hotel (Leonardo Plaza) in Netanya dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Sunday March 10, 2024: ALL THE PAST YEARS WITH HISTORY
Start our day by visiting the ancient Caesarea, which was once the ancient capital of the Roman province. Visit the Byzantine churches, the Roman Theater, Crusader’s moat and the aqueduct. Then continue to visit Stella Maris Convent, and the Cave of Elijah and the city of Haifa; ascend to the top of Mt. Carmel for a panoramic view of the city and port. Drive to Sea of Galilee. Dinner and overnight at Magdala Hotel.
Day 4: Monday March 11, 2024: THE MINISTRY OF CHRIST IN THE GALILEE.
After Breakfast will start the day with a boat ride across the Sea of Galilee; where Jesus walked on the water, to Capernaum to see the synagogue and St. Peter’s house, a visit to the Mount of the Beatitudes where the Sermon on the Mount was given, to Tabgha to see the splendid mosaic about the miracle of the loaves and fishes, and to the nearby Church of Peter’s Primacy where Peter was told ” Feed my lambs, feed my sheep.” There will be an unforgettable Mass near the shores of the Sea of Galilee at the Primacy or Mt Beatitudes. In the afternoon we visit Caesarea Philippi, location of the testimony of St. Peter and where Jesus answered him “You are the Rock and upon this rock I will build my Church.” Dinner and overnight in Magdala Hotel.
Day 5: Tuesday March 12, 2024: Annunciation & Transfiguration
We start the day at Mount Tabor, scene of the Transfiguration. Drive to Cana where Jesus performed his first miracle, turning water into wine at the wedding feast; here couples may renew their wedding vows. Continue to the Basilica of Annunciation in Nazareth and then visit Mary’s Well and the Church of the Angel Gabriel. Dinner and overnight in Magdala Hotel.
Day 6: Wednesday March 13, 2024: Judean Wilderness and Baptismal day
We proceed through the Jordan Valley / Judean Wilderness to the traditional baptismal site at the Jordan River. (Here we have the opportunity to renew our baptismal promises in the same river where Jesus was baptized). Continue to Jericho the oldest city in the world. In Jericho, we will have the opportunity to view the exact location, the Mount of Temptation, of where the Devil tempted Jesus during his forty-day fast, and then will continue to visit the excavations of Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were uncovered. On the way back there is time for a swim (or rather a float!) in the mineral-rich waters of the Dead Sea, renowned for its healing properties. Drive to Jerusalem, Check in Notre Dame Hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Thursday March 14, 2024: MOUNT OF OLIVES – THE TEMPLE MOUNT & Mt Zion
After breakfast, we make our way to the Mount of Olives, where we will take in the beautiful panoramic view of Jerusalem. Next, we make our way to the Pater Noster Shrine, where Jesus taught His disciples the Lord’s Prayer. Next is Dominus Flevit, the church that commemorates Jesus’ weeping for Jerusalem. We continue the tour in Gethsemane, a garden at the foot of the Mount of Olives where Jesus brought His disciples to pray the night before He was crucified. Beside the garden, we visit the Church of All Nations, which is built over the Rock of Agony and the place where Jesus prayed alone on the night of His arrest. We then proceed to the Temple Mount and the Dome of the Rock as well as the Wailing Wall or Western Wall, the holiest site for the Jews. Continue to Mount Zion to visit the house of the High Priest Caiaphas (Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu). This Church commemorates where Jesus was brought to jail after his arrest. It also commemorates Peter’s Denial of Christ. Continue to visit the Upper Room, where Jesus and His disciples celebrated the Last Supper and where He appeared to them after His Death and Resurrection. Will continue to visit the nearby Benedictine Church of the Dormition. This Church is where our Blessed Mary, “fell asleep.” Dinner and overnight at Notre Dame Hotel.
Day 8: Friday March 15, 2024: THE WAY OF THE CROSS / VISITATION
Early in the morning we retrace the last steps of Jesus. As we walk along the Via Dolorosa (Way of Sorrow), through the markets of the Old City praying the Stations of the Cross, we reflect on the greatness of His sacrifice. We will start our tour by visiting St. Anne’s Church, the home of the Virgin Mary and her parents Saints Joachim and Anne. We will pass the Ecco Home where Pilate proclaimed “Behold the man”. Finally, we arrive at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
Afternoon we will drive to the village of Ein Karem, the birthplace of St. John the Baptist and to the Church of Visitation where the Blessed Virgin Mary visited her cousin, Elizabeth, and proclaimed the ‘Magnificat’. Dinner and overnight at Notre Dame Hotel
.Day 9: Saturday March 16, 2024: THE NATIVITY & HERODION
This Morning we start our day by visiting one of the local Christian handicraft / souvenir shops in Bethlehem. After that we will visit the Shepherd’s Fields where the angels announced the birth of Jesus. Then we continue to visit the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem that stands upon the site where Jesus was born. Mass in Bethlehem or the Shepherds Fields. After Lunch, we visit Herodion (The Palace of King Herod) and was also the burial location of Herod. Farewell Dinner in Bethlehem and overnight at Notre Dame Hotel.
Day 10: Sunday March 17, 2023: RETURN HOME
Check out from our Hotel in Jerusalem, transfer to Tel Aviv airport for our departure flight to USA

TERMS & CONDITIONS
Sacred Land Tours & Travel shall be referred to as SLTT within this document.
DOCUMENTS: US citizens require a valid passport. Other nationalities please inquire with the appropriate embassies. Passports must be valid for six months beyond the tour’s return date.
Payment: Full payment is required 60 days prior to Arrival.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: If a passenger cancels his/her tour membership, there will be a cancellation fee of 10% of the tour cost per person on to cover administrative and communication costs up until 46 days before departure. For cancellations 45-30 days before departure the cancellation fee will be 20% of the tour cost per person. 29-15 days before departure the cancellation fee will be 30% of the tour cost per person. 14-07 days before departure the cancellation fee will be 50% of the tour cost per person. There will be no refund for cancellations within 6 days of departure, no-shows, or partially completed tours. All cancellation requests must be addressed to SLTT in writing. Trip cancellation insurance is recommended.
TOUR OPERATION & CANCELLATION: While no changes are anticipated, SLTT expressly reserves the right to cancel all or any part of the tour or to make any changes to the itinerary, for any reason or whenever it deems it necessary for the comfort, convenience, or safety of the tour participants. In the event of any alteration to the itinerary, every effort will be made to substitute the altered activity with a comparable replacement. If a tour is cancelled in its entirety by SLTT, full refunds shall be issued within three weeks of such cancellation. This will constitute, in full, SLTT’s obligation to you and SLTT bears no further responsibility beyond the full refund. SLTT shall not be held liable and hereby expressly disclaims liability for any loss, expense, damage, or inconvenience caused as a result of any tour cancellation or changes made to the itinerary. Furthermore, SLTT is not responsible for any additional costs or fees relating to the issuance and/or cancellation of air tickets or other travel arrangements not made through SLTT.
CANCELLATION BEYOND SLTT’s CONTROL: SLTT expressly disclaims any responsibility for any losses or expenses incurred due to cancellation or alteration of the tour resulting from, but not limited to: cancellations due to travel advisories or warnings issued by the State Department or any other relevant authority, acts of war, war, terrorism, acts of God, natural disasters or any other circumstance beyond STLL’s control. In such case, SLTT will assist you in requesting refunds for all services prepaid but not rendered, less a non-refundable $200 per person administrative fee. SLTT shall not be held responsible for any non-recoverable amounts disbursed to carriers or other service providers on your behalf.
HEALTH: Most foreign countries do not conform to the U.S. A. Disabilities Act standard. SLTT cannot provide individual assistance to tour members for walking, dining, getting on and off motor coaches or other transportation vehicles. Participants who need such assistance must be accompanied by a qualified companion at all times and at their own expense. Furthermore, while SLTT cannot accept responsibility for providing access to all facilities included in a tour, SLTT will make every effort to assist in providing mobility aides to the extent feasible and with applicable costs borne by the participant. SLTT assumes no responsibility for the participant’s inability to fully participate in the tour, nor can SLTT provide any refund for non-participation in any part of the tour.
PASSENGER TRAVEL PROTECTION PROGRAM: Passenger Travel Protection Program is offered by SLTT and is strongly recommended. A Travel Protection Plan enrollment form consisting of a description of coverage provided will be mailed with your invoice. The plan fee is based on the tour price and taxes (as well as single room supplement and airline add-ons, if applicable) and will appear as an optional item on your invoice. Travel Protection Plan cannot be purchased after you have made your final payment for the tour. We must receive your insurance premium payment within 14 days of your invoice date in order for the exclusion of pre-existing conditions to be waived, provided you are medically able to travel at the time you pay your insurance premium. All Travel Protection Plan fees are non-refundable.
